Having submitted a letter to the chamber of the Enugu State Assembly through the Speaker Mr. Edward Ubosi Calling for clearification in some areas of the budget which received no attention after one month and three weeks and having done a Press Release to that effect, the youths of Enugu state under the aiges of COAL CITY YOUTHS DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE make bold to say that the budget is KANGAROO.

*Bellow are some of our findings which we had wanted them to address*

1. Recall that the media aide to the Governor had in one of his articles pointed out that the road leading from Nike Lake - Nike road junction under bypass flyover in Enugu East LG has been completed. Why then did the assembly allocated the sum of *1.8 billion* naira for it's completion?

2. *4.5 billion naira* was mapped out for the Construction of Urban and rural roads in Enugu state. Biko which roads exactly? How many kilometers are they?

3. The Ikem - Eha Amufu - Nkalagu road which was captured as *already finished Project* was given *500 million naira* for it's construction.

4. Why would the sum of *800 million* be earmarked for the construction of 5km New University gate - Orie Orba - Enugu/makurdi expressway without mentioning the name of the company handling such projects?

5. *3 billion* for special intervention on infrastructure in Enugu state? The same money was allocated for this purpose in the last year's budget. Who syphoned these resources?

6. The sum of *400 million* was mapped out for the PEWASH program. We are asking, where is the one allocated last year for this same program?

7. *200 million* for procurement of new pumps and starter panels at Ajali Water Scheme that never worked? This amounts to total falsehood and deception.

8. *150 million* for that of the Oji River water scheme, *100 million* for drilling of another borehole at Okwojo Ngwo, *100 million* for the construction of concrete reservoir at Nsukka is a misplaced priority.

9. The huge amount of money earmarked for the payment of our primary school teachers who are being owed over 23 months pension arrears, could not capture that of the ESBS, sports Council and ENADEP workers whom on the 15th of December 2019 went on Peaceful demonstration to Government House to register their grievances.

10. How can *120 million* be allocated for the furnishing of the state's information library when there is no single electric fan there? Same money was distributed in the last year's budget for that purpose.

11. Why would the sum of *200millon* allocated for the construction of three storey legislative office building, be re-allocated for the construction of House of Assembly guest house and by extension another *200 million* is still allocated for the renovation of the same assembly complex and yet another *200 million*  is earmarked for the construction of mini medical center for ENHA?

12. It was captured that under the office of the executive Governor *516 Million* was allocated for the purchase of security gadgets, but unfortunately, *7billon* was also allocated for the same security gadgets through the office of the Secretary to the state government. Who is cheating who?

13. Its obvious that the sum of *2bilion* mapped out for the establishment of modern abattoirs across the state will never see the light of the day

14. *300 milion* for the establishment of Enugu rice brand production? Akuko Mike Ejeagha

15. *200 million* for the establishment of EFI IGBO Development cluster? Story for the gods

16. The *750 million* allocated for the installation of solar powered traffic light system: our eyes are on it

17. The sum of *1.7 billion* just for the construction of pavilion at already existing Okpara Square?
Chukwu meere anyi ebere!
18. How could the state government build two stadiums in one local government which is Nsukka? What happened to other LG?
