MEANING OF BYE-LAW BY ANDREW OFORMA EZE

BYE-LAW

A by-law is a law made by a local government authority and other public corporations. A by-law is different from the law made by National Assembly or Parliament. The dichotomy is that by-laws are made by non-sovereign body, which sources its authority from another sovereign body like National Assembly.
